Tutorial Requests - Page 2 Empty
PostSubject: Re: Tutorial Requests   Tutorial Requests - Page 2 Empty2nd April 2009, 18:14

lol but u can counter that move standford. >)

Travian Help states:
"village will lose 10% of its resources per attack in 10 minutes. The
resources in the player owned oasis will regenerated in 10 minutes.
Thus attacking an oasis 7 minutes after a first raid has occurred one
will only be able to grab 7% of the resources from the owning village."

Bad Advice from Travian Help:
"In order to defend an oasis against raids you can reinforce it with
troops which can be sent back via the rally point of the owning village
and are fed by this village."

Good Advice from LW Help:
Use your own troops to raid the oasis before the attacker lands. You can even use troops from the village that owns the oasis. The KEY is to make sure your attack lands 0-15seconds before the attacker does. If your attack lands before the attacker does you steal the 10% of resources. The attacker will land and get ZERO resources. If you land 2 minutes before the attacker, the attacker will get (2% - cranny level), and so on.

if the defender's not paying attention

I know you CAN counter it, the two questions are "Do they know what we're doing and how to counter it?" and "Are they paying enough attention to counter it?" In my experience, the number of people who can answer "yes" to both is fairly low.

Thanks for your replys. Taking resourses to an ally expence was never my intention. It was just a thought that I could gain at no ally cost.

Simplest solution: 2 browsers (open one account in IE, one in Firefox for example)

Slightly more complex solution: One in Firefox, one in an embedded IE tab (using the plugin IETab: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419 )

More complex solution: Both in the same browser, with different cookies; be careful when sending attacks or resources to make sure you're sending from the right account ( http://www.nektra.com/oss/firefox/extensions/cookiepie/ )

As always the simplests solutions are the best.

You get always confused CC.

Andreas you will go to PD or WD wing when the leadership in LW-UD says you are good to go.

Dummy question,

I already know that: oasis has to be in the small map around the village (center your village!) to be conquerable.

But how about we use travian plus to enlarge the map and then conquer oasiss on this 13x13 map? (outside 7x7 but inside 13x13)

And if it's ok, do we lost it when we run out of plus?
