Still Looking for a NAP Between Light Warriors & ALAMO-R (Denied)

OK. Trying for the third time. Maybe my title was confusing last time.

Requesting: NAP
Alliance Name: ALAMO-R (Alamo Reserve)
Ranking: #100 the first time we applied, #72 last week on the 15th, #66 today, so we are growing!!!
but more importantly, we are the junior wing of ALAMO (with whom you already have a NAP), ranked at #25.
Alliance Description: went from 9 players in SE, to 17 players on 15th, and now to 23 players with 43,870 populations.
As you can see, we are growing quickly with quality players.
Reasons to for the Request:
The Alamo Leadership (Noah, Sanch, El Gotto, etc.) has requested us to mirror the Alliances and NAPs that they, as our parent wing, already have.
Extra Info:
As Alamo Reserve, we are a new wing created to host prospects that do not yet meet ALAMO requirements, probationary members, and others who do not fit ALAMO. We are a formal part of them.
My hope is to see the NAP develop into confederation, so that we fight together at End Game.

Personally I find the whole ALAMO-R thing annoying, my perception is you sucked up a load of borderline-defenceless/inactive players I was on the verge of turning into farms of mine, or had started the process of breaking. Players who sit there with full storage who I'm supposed to count on for some kind of support in the end game? With what exactly? 500 man Imperian hammers? 500 Praetorian Anvils?

I've held off attacking because of the grief I got for my attacks, however, like you I'd like to see this formalised, hopefully a formal rejection as I believe the resources of most of your players would better serve our cause funding my level 18 crop fields .

Of course I'm not leadership and have no say in this matter, but I thought I'd put my 2 pence out there.

While Alamo have been helpful in some ops in my area, I have to honestly run with Scandal's comments on this.

There are a couple of players in your ally who are known farms and while not knowing the full story of your parent ally, I have found Noah to be accomodating and professional in coms with him.

I fully agree with a confed with Alamo but honestly your wing should go through some real 'testing'. LW has a training wing and if a member meets LW requirements, he/she passes to a fighting wing or is kicked. Growth, military, time dedicated, etc are all relevant. Give your guys a chance and bring the results.

Other than that, and in line with Scandal, we're not going to NAP a farm wing or a weak wing. we've come this far by other means and it's too far in the server. Sort out your weaklings and only then will some of start to be interested.

I would like to address the concern that we are inactive or defenseless.

We expect 10% growth per week. Last week we had the following results among our members who have been with us at least a week: Most of our members grew by 10% or more. Dawodi (22.8%), gin tonic (20.3%), jutjutero (19.9%), furann (17.1%), Athene (15%), suffarell 13.5%), arnestov (12.8%), Jhanan5 (11.4%), millon (10.8%), jazz chameleon (10.5%), chardys123 (10.3%), and jack_606 (10.3%). The two who missed had 5.8% & 4.3% respectively. The latter was gone for several days and their assigned sitter let them down. Chastisement followed.

With the addition of 7 new members this week, all provided by our ALAMO parent, the total alliance population has grown to 44,532 from the 32,663 we were at a week ago. Our ranking has improved from #100 two weeks ago to #72 last week to #66 now. Our parent ALAMO is now rated at #25, having promoted some of our larger members!

I hate sim city growing.....in this time of server i like only this that a friend of mine always said.....troops troops troops and one more time troops.
(Defensive or Offensive).

totally agree with you , troops are the number one priority now
without troops you will only be a huge farm

So that is a population growth requirement... nice, but what requirement do you have for troop growth? As I see it now and other have mentioned the reserve wing does not seem to have the same criteria as the main alamo wing. I'm failing to see why people should covered under a protective umbrella...

We require minimum (minimum!!) 2X troops. We require all members to be raiders.

I respectfully submit that our weekly growth targets cannot be met by Sims. You have to have a substantial raiding income to keep building at that rate. Even those that specialize in defenders or scouts have to have a substantial raiding force.

We require all players to be active daily. We require all players to have sitters and be sitters. At end game, we will be able to provide both resources and troops to defend your WW villages. We will be able to attack the competition to keep them from their objectives. (We have some members who have been through end game before, on Server 3.)

The reserve wing does NOT have the same criteria as the main Alamo wing in population. But every one has to have the objective of getting promoted to Alamo--that is why we require double-digit weekly growth.

I have to agree with scandal on this, most of the growth is coming from farms gin tonic was a farm of mine, I stopped raids when he joined alamo r, because of the affiliation with alamo, and due to the fact I work closely with a number of alamo members. I sent scouts the other day a couple times to check on his progress and he still has no troops.

I understand the concern about players that have not grown all server. A fair number of these folks were Sim players that did not "get" the game. We did not accept any who did not want to change once they got it. That is why we demand 10% minimum growth, plus the other requirements. They have to make up for lost time. A good case is Furann. On 9/22, he was at 379 pop & 2 villages after months of dabbling. Who would trouble to bring him into an alliance?? In the less than five weeks since, he has grown to 900, and he reports that he will get his 4th village today, a 15-C that will become his capital and army base. He now raids every day, which is how he has sustained growth of OVER 28%/week. By end game, he will be able to provide and feed a few thousand Praetorians to your WW. He is not looking for protection, he is looking to be part of your winning team.

Meanwhile, players that don't make the grade get tossed. I kicked Corvus and abc123 last week. Corvus deleted, but feel free to devour abc123. I have two others on probation, and if they do not measure up, you can feast on them as well.

Well, I regret that the request was denied, but I understand the reasons and we will continue to correct them.

Despite the lack of a NAP we will behave as though one is in place. Specifically, although we will vigorously defend ourselves, we will not initiate hostilities, nor will we respond to them. We still expect to be part of your support team at the end, even though not now.

Meanwhile, we have tossd another member who did not meet growth and activity requirements. You are welocme to feast on him -- jack_606. good hunting!
