She is still very sick though... in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit awaiting surgery for Hirschsprungs Disease, and she also has no left hand. Sad

I wasn't sure if I was going to post that information, but she is such an awesome little girl, I'm sure she will be fine. It's hard though, because she is in hospital and I'm at home, so I have to travel in each day to see her, ( I had C-Section), so I can't drive for another 4 weeks either. She can't be breastfed atm, so I'm expressing her milk every 3 hours up at the hospital and at home through the night. If you see me on skype say hi, because it's a rare event lately Razz

My thoughts go out to Violet and to you Hols. They've had over 60 years to perfect the pull-through procedure for Hirschsprung's Disease so I am sure that everything will be fine, but nonetheless something like this can be very mentally & emotionally taxing so be sure to take care of yourself for you and for Violet.

Wow Hols she is beautiful.... seeing her in the isolet reminds me so much of when my son was born.
Enjoy it all while it lasts cause its going to feel like a year went by when she is asking for the car keys and bringing it back with an empty tank. …….. Ok maybe two years ……… in about 16 you will know exactly what I mean.

I wouldn't worry too much about her left hand, my nephew was born with phocomelia on all 4 arteries....he's 13 now and mad as hell Smile

I've got an 8 month baby. Looking at your pics reminds me how small he also used to be. It's amazing how quickly they grow. Just when you feel she's cute now, wait till she starts interacting :-)
